By activating a pinball mechanism, participants trigger a chain of events. The unpredictable, fluid path of the balls traces an invisible image in the air, akin to the rhythmic motion of fingers across the handpan’s surface.
Much like the legendary fall of an apple that sparked a great discovery, this work transforms the simple act of an object’s descent into a moment of wonder. Here, the collision of physics and sound blurs the lines between chaos and harmony, accident and design. The answers to these explorations are not predefined—they are waiting to be discovered through your curiosity and interaction.
Together with fellow participants, you will collectively create a one-of-a-kind sonic landscape, born from improvisation and collaboration. In this space, music is no longer bound by the rigidity of notation but becomes a creative and imaginative dialogue between you, gravity, and the unpredictable paths of sound.
