Discrimination against tattoos is a common phenomenon in China. As a tattoo artist, I use fruit as a carrier to express that tattoos are just patterns attached to the skin.

Background

As a tattoo artist, I have been tattooing for 4 years. From China to England, I have worked in different studios, and I have noticed that the cultural atmosphere in each place is varied. Because of this profession, I want to make an artistic work about tattoos.

In particular, China’s attitude towards tattoos is controversial.
